# Credit usage

> How many credits chats, calls, read-aloud, and more use, and how the monthly amount works.

Chats, calls, and read-aloud with muku use your organization's credits. Each plan has a monthly amount, which resets on the 1st of every month (Japan time, JST).

## Credits used

| What you do | Credits used |
| --- | --- |
| Chat with muku | Counted for each reply by the amount read and written (tokens). 1,000 tokens = 1 credit. Parts that repeat what was already sent, such as the earlier conversation, count at one-tenth. Longer questions and longer replies use more |
| Call muku | 10 per minute. A minute that has started counts as a full minute. This covers listening, replying, and the voice together |
| Read a reply aloud | 1 per 100 characters. Listening to the same reply again uses none |
| Transcribe a meeting recording | 1 per minute of transcribed audio. A minute that has started counts as a full minute |
| Create ideas for muku's look | 2 per time (4 ideas) |
| AI in LINE plugins (such as price estimates) | Counted in tokens, the same as chat |
| API requests | None (only the number of requests is counted) |

## Monthly credits by plan

| Plan | Monthly credits |
| --- | --- |
| Free | 300 |
| Standard | 3,000 |
| Pro | 30,000 |

- Monthly credits don't roll over.
- Credits you buy stay until you use them up. They are used after your monthly credits run out.

## Check what's left

1. Open the account menu (at the bottom of the left navigation).
2. Click the credits card at the top to open **Usage & history**.

## When you run low

When credits run out, muku replies with guidance only. You can't start a call with fewer than 10 credits left, and if you run out during a call, muku says goodbye and hangs up. Upgrade your plan or buy more credits to keep going (**Settings** > **Plan & billing**). Only organizations on a paid plan can buy more credits.
