# Host a presentation with QR participation

> Open a stage view and receive questions, reactions and live comments from your audience.

Presentations lets your audience scan a QR code on the stage view to send questions, reactions and live comments. Participants do not need to install an app or create an account.

## Before you begin

An organization owner or administrator adds **Presentations** through **Add service**. It becomes available once the organization's dedicated environment is ready. You need the member role or higher to create and control a presentation.

Anyone who knows the audience link can view the questions and the slide currently on screen. Prepare content that you intend to share with the audience.

## Create a presentation

1. Open **Presentations**.
2. Select **Create presentation**.
3. Enter a **Presentation title**.
4. Select **Create presentation**.

In **Slides**, select **Add text slide** or **Add image slides** to prepare your content. PNG, JPEG and WebP images are supported. Select **Save slides** before switching to another tab.

## Invite the audience

1. Select **Open stage view**.
2. Display the new window on your venue's screen.
3. Select **Start presentation** in the presenter controls.
4. Ask your audience to scan the QR code.

Participants can enter a nickname or leave it blank, then select **Join**. You can also select **Copy audience link** to share the link directly.

## Receive questions and comments

Participants select **Send question** to ask a question. They can select **I'd like to know too** on another question to vote for it. Questions are sorted by vote count.

The presenter selects **Show on screen** in **Questions** to feature a question, then **Mark answered** after responding. Questions remain available in the presenter controls after submissions close.

Reactions appear on the stage view. By default, live comments go to **Comments awaiting approval**. Select **Show** to display a comment. In **Display settings**, choose **Show immediately**, **Approve before showing** or **Off**, and adjust the comment speed, on-screen density and reactions.

## Close submissions

Select **Close submissions** to stop new questions, votes, reactions and comments. Select **Reopen submissions** to accept them again.

**Replace audience link** invalidates the previous link and QR code. Share the new QR code with your audience.

The creator or an administrator can select **Delete**. This removes slides, images and questions, and invalidates the audience link. A confirmation appears before deletion.

## Create slides in conversation

1. Describe the topic, audience and duration in the Slides conversation field.
2. Select **Create a slide draft**.
3. Review the preview and follow up with edits, such as shortening headings or adding a comparison.
4. Adjust text, layout, colors and speaker notes directly if needed.
5. Check the content and select **Save slides** to publish the changes to the presentation.

Generation uses AI credits. Check numbers and quotations before presenting. You can restore the previous draft after generation. Unsaved drafts are lost when you leave this screen. Speaker notes and the next-slide preview are private to the presenter. Use the separate stage view for projection; arrow keys move between slides while live.

## Share Japanese and English captions

While live, select an audio input and choose **Share audio and start captions**. Grant microphone permission. Audio from this device goes to the speech service and captions are shared with the audience. A connected venue mixer can provide the presenter's audio directly.

The audience and stage views can display Japanese, English, both, or hide captions. Provisional text may change. Captions and translations are generated by AI.

Captions use 1 credit per started minute and run for up to 2 hours per connection. Only one device can share audio per presentation. **Stop captions** releases the microphone. No recording or full transcript is saved. If disconnected, check the status and restart captions manually.
