If you ask muku, it can create a new board and place sticky notes and a mind map, add to an existing board, or read what is on a board and summarize it. You can spread out brainstorming or a meeting summary on a board right away.
Before you begin
- You can use it in organizations that have added the service Boards (Use sticky notes and mind maps on a board).
- Only people with the Member role or higher can have boards created or added to. People with the Viewer role can only ask muku to read a board.
- You can’t ask by phone. Ask in chat.
What you can ask for
| What to ask for | Example | Approval |
|---|---|---|
| See the list of boards | “Show me the list of boards” | Not needed |
| Summarize what’s on a board | “Summarize what’s on the ‘Spring campaign’ board” | Not needed |
| Summarize voting results | “Summarize the voting results on the ‘Weekly sync’ board” | Not needed |
| Summarize comments | “Summarize the comments that aren’t resolved yet on the ‘Site review’ board” | Not needed |
| Create a new board | “Create a board for brainstorming autumn campaign ideas. Place 4 sticky notes and a mind map too” | Needed |
| Create from a template | “Create a board called ‘New service planning’ with the SWOT analysis template” | Needed |
| Add to the current board | “Add 3 more sticky notes with customer acquisition ideas to that board, in blue” | Needed |
muku can place a template (only when it creates a board; the 13 in Use sticky notes and mind maps on a board), sticky notes (you can choose one color at a time), and a mind map (a center and branches up to 3 levels deep). If you choose a template, it places that first, and it places sticky notes and the mind map to its right. It doesn’t place shapes, arrows, images, or freehand drawing. When it adds to a board, it places things to the right of what is already there, and it doesn’t change or delete anything that is already there.
Steps
- Open Ask muku at the top right, or AI in the icon column on the left.
- Ask for the board you want, or for what you want placed.
- A Proposal: Create a board or Proposal: Add to a board card appears. Check the board name, the sticky note text and color, and the mind map branches.
- Select Approve and run. To cancel, select Reject.
- When it finishes, the card shows Open the board. Select it to open the board.
If anyone has that board open, it appears on their screen right away. What was done is recorded in the audit log as “via AI”.
Credits
Creating a board or adding to one doesn’t use credits by itself. The conversation with muku uses credits (Credit usage).
